Cambios!
YO SOY EL ASESINO GRINGO!
For those of you that don't know what that means, it means that I am the white assassin. :D That's right! Elder Medina died today... It was a bit bittersweet, but I feel like his time is up and that he's needed back at home. Y así terminó el ministerio del Gran Maestro. RIP ELDER MEDINA
My new companion's name is Elder Ramos. He will arrive here tomorrow, and it turns out that he was the game of soccer that we played in Concepción this past P-Day. From what I saw in that game of soccer, he seems like a pretty dope guy and I'm excited to have him as a companion. :)
So at the beginning of this week, we spent Monday and Tuesday in the house because I came down with a bacterial infection in my throat. We went to the clinic on Tuesday and I got shot up with some Penicilin. I'm feeling much better now, but I've still got the cough and a bit of a headache.
During the week, we did a lot of service for the new house of the sister missionaries. They were in a really sketchy part of the sector before where there was a beer shop set up on their street and they had a few encounters with the drunkards straggling around there, but a member offered a part of their house for them, and we've been helping them finish it. The sisters are safe now in their new home. :D
Sandra, our investigator, was confirmed on Sunday, so now her baptism is officially complete! I feel like she's going to be a very strong member for the rest of her life, despite the health problems that she has and the lack of support from her family.
And that's about it! I'll be spending this next week planning everything while my new companion learns the sector. It's going to be DOPE!
Have a great week all!
Con Muchísimo Amor,
Elder Robertson
