Goshdangit. I forgot my camera again. XD I promise that next week's email will be full of photos!!
So this week has been pretty great!! This last Sunday, there was an inactive that came to church without any help that hasn't gone in 7 years, and we are now helping him to reactivate! Plus we are teaching his 14 year-old daughter who is really interested in our message!! :D:D She has her baptismal date set for the 29th of this month, so we'll see if she's ready by then!
So today I wanted to talk about a member here in our ward. His name is Sergio. He's the size of an oompaloompa from WillyWonka's candy factory, and his voice just about matches, but he's AWESOME!! He's got quite the sense of humor and is always throwing jokes and stuff, and he's SO integrated in missionary work. He goes on visits with us about 3 or 4 times every week, and he really puts himself into the lessons and befriends the investigators, less actives, etc. Even though he's a small guy, he's got the biggest heart I've ever seen. :) This next week, I'll get a picture of him standing next to me. :D:D
On Wednesday we went to Concepcion for a "Specialized Training". There wasn't exactly a main point that they were trying to teach in the end, it was more to give all of the missionaries ánimo (I don't know how you say that in English) to find investigators and to do the work with energy and a smile in every moment. It was a good meeting in the end and it was cool to see some missionaries that I haven't seen in almost my entire mission.
On Saturday, we helped out with a baptism of the ward. It was a good service and the family was really happy to see their daughter baptized. Being a baptism of the ward, the missionaries didn't have too big of a part, but it was still cool to be there! :D
And that is about it for this week! We went to the beach this morning, but as I said, I forgot my camera... ;( I'm going to copy some of the photos from the other Elders this week though so I can get them sent to you guys. Don't worry! :D
Thank you all for your constant love and support!
