Hey everyone!! Good to be back with you guys!! This week has been awesome!!
So first of all I taught a lesson in a FHE we had on Monday. I used a lesson plan that I used quite a while back with my own family... It consisted of some cookies that were made with salt, and some cookies made with sugar. :D:D Basically the way it works is that you make cookies with the two ingredients, but you make the good cookies smaller, with less of an incentive visually, with the other types of cookies larger, with a larger visual incentive. You then pass around the cookies asking everyone if they could judge your cooking. Obviously, most everyone is going to go for the good cookies and very few will go for the smaller cookies (which only one person in this family home evening did). After those who have chosen the salted cookies have finished spitting out what they have eaten and throwing away the cookie, you apply the doctrine that the best decisions in our lives aren't always those that look the most apetizing from afar. The family loved the lesson in the end. :D
Other than that, Tamara got BAPTIZED on Sunday!!! AT 9 OCLOCK IN THE MORNING, AN HOUR BEFORE SACRAMENT MEETING!! Everything turned out alright, and even though not a ton of people showed up, it was very spiritual and very good!
Sunday night we had a FHE with Tamara and her Dad. It was a good way to end the day and we talked to Tamara about how she should write down what she had felt that day, so that she wouldn't ever forget it.
Other than that, transfers were today, and I'm staying here with Elder Troncoso, who got assigned to be DISTRICT LEADER! Now we're going to have 2 District leaders in our house!! Woohoo!! :D:D
Thank you all for your constant love and support!! Have a fantastic week!!
