OH!!! The groundbreaking of the Concepción Temple!! Almost forgot. XD We viewed it from our Stake Center because there wasn't enough room for all of the missionaries to be there. :D It was a very spiritual experience and I hope that it helps motivate the people of Chile to keep the Commandments a bit more in their lives. :D
Weeeeeellllllll....... I'm getting transferred!!!!!! I'm going to the sector of Chiguay A as SENIOR COMP!!!! My new companion is going to be Elder Day, an Argentine. (I'm not sure how he got his last name by all means. XD) So things are going to be crazy saying goodbye to everyone and getting everything packed up, but here's a quick resume of my week.
On Monday, we had an FHE with the Family Solis Perez. They are a super strong family in the ward that is half Columbian for the mom's part. We had a very spiritual lesson with them and then moved on to the best part! COMPLETOS!!! They made at least 50 so we were there just chowing down!! Being Columbian, the mom cooks EXTREMELY well!
On Tuesday, I had a mini-cambio with Elder Murillo, who is from Salt Lake City, Utah!!! (What's going on with the last names, right? XD) He's doesn't have very much time in the mission, only like 6 months, but he speaks the language FANTASTICALLY and really loves the people. He's going to be a great leader some day. :D (Picture included below)
Today, we got together with some Carabineros, which are the police here in Chile, and we played some basketball!! We were only 3 gringos that showed up to play against them, but in the end, we tied at 49 points. :D:D They had some pretty HUGE guys though, being police officers, so I'm glad that at least we were able to tie!! :D:D
And that's about it for this week!! Being senior comp is going to bring a lot of responsibility, but I know that if the Lord considers me ready to do it, then I'm ready. We'll talk to you all next week!! Thanks for everything and que estén super bien!!
