EMERGENCY TRANSFER!
So big news this week. On Tuesday, we were studying and the phone rang. It was President. So I answered and he told me that I was going to the ward of Universitario in Concepción in an emergency transfer. The Elder that was there was sent home for means unknown to me, but they needed someone to fill in that empty spot. I am now here in Concepción Centro with Elder Chavez, who is 23, was born in Argentina but moved to Utah when he was 5. He lives in Bountiful and he has 5 months in the mission. Elder Day stayed back in Chiguayante as a trio with the other companionship that was there. :O It's crazy how things happen like that, but that's the mission right? "I'll go where you want me to go". :D
The craziest thing is that now I'm living with the Assistents and the Elders that work in the office. We have one of the most GOOD LOOKING apartments in the mission, plus we live on the 12th floor. :o
So on Saturday we went to a Stake Activity in our ward that the Relief Society organized. It was cool and each ward put on some type of play connected with a movie. There was Beauty and the Beast, Grease, Mary Poppins, etc... It was pretty great!! We went with an investigator and she seemed to enjoy it pretty well!!
On Tuesday before I left my old ward, we played some basketball to finish off my time there. Those guys are great and I'm going to miss playing with them every week!
On Friday we got sushi for the apartment!! The sushi is just as good here as in the states and we enjoyed it!! :D
So that's about it! The pictures here are of the Elders of my old house and the last basketball game we had. :D More pictures to come!!
Love you guys!!!
