Wow. Cambios.
So I moved to my second sector this past week. Now I'm VERY far away from the ocean, here in Coyquén Chillán. I got my 1st Latino companion as well. His name's Elder Medina from Argentina. He's AWESOME! He's one of those latins that I feel like if he hadn't come on a mission, he would be a thug walking around the streets, beating up other thugs, but never hurting people for money. I don't know, I have mixed feelings about what I think he would be. XD But he's just awesome!
This ward is really awesome as well! The members are a lot more accepting of missionaries here, and we've worked with the Bishop and the Ward Mission Leader already more times than I can count! I would send pictures but I forgot my camera this week! XDXD Next week I'll be sure to get some pictures to you guys.
More about my companion. He's got a fake nose and a few scars on his face because he does kick-boxing. With that, you can probably imagine that he's a bit of a fighter. Here in the mission, almost everyone refers to him as the "Gran Maestro" or great teacher, because he's got a special gift where he can explain small simple questions by starting way far back in the Plan of Salvation for example, and by the end, just by explaining simple doctrine, the person understands completely. It's hard to explain, but it's awesome to be sitting next to it and see it in action. :)
So there is a gym nice and close to our house and we went 4 times this past week. I am feeling really sore right now, but that's always how it starts. Soon enough, I'm going to be JACKED. ;D;D
We had a fantastic week too. I have a couple of experiences I want to share as well, but they're going to have to wait until next week because I am out of time!
Thank you all for your support and have a FANTASTIC week! I love you all! :)
