So I'll be honest!!! It's been a pretty tough week, but I'll let you all know why.
So I don't know if you have all seen it, but Chile has gone into all sorts of strikes, protests, and whatnot. The good news is, most of that stuff is happening in Santiago and not where I'm at. The bad news, is that almost all of the schools are going into halt because the students are the ones doing the protesting. Because of that, almost all of our investigators don't have anything to do and are traveling back to their respective homes in Chile to wait out the protests, which means that we are left with almost no one to teach. XD It was a good experience as well though, we had a lot of opportunity to search for new investigators this week and we found some pretty cool people as well. :D
Other than that, things have been great!! My new companion and I have been getting along splendidly, and we're both getting used to how each one of the us teach and do things. Every time you change companions there's a time like this, so we're basically just doing normal stuff in that aspect. :D
I try not to spend a lot of time thinking about the time that's already past in the mission, but it's really incredible to see how much time has past. Thinking in that though, I always try to come out of those moments ready to work even harder. That's the most important, right? :D
We went to a beach this morning!! It was awesome and we had to walk through a pitch-black tunnel to get there. Awesome!!
So that's about it for this week!!! Hope you all have a fantastic week and we'll see you all soon!! :D:D
