Hey everyone!! We had a fantastic week this week!! The new President arrived!! President Arrington had about 2 hours to have lunch with him, and then he was off on his plane!! President Catala seems like a VERY amazing person. I'm excited to see where things go with him. I know that he's going to change this mission!
So in other news, Juan is VERY sick. He's been in bed for more than a week now with a major bronchitus. If you can all keep him in your prayers, that would be great!!
It looks like I'm following in the steps of Juan a little bit as well. XD On Wednesday, I started having a little bit of a cough, and then on Friday, I talked with the Medic of the mission and she sent me to the hospital where I found out that I have Pneumonia!!! :D:D:D It's a little strange though, because I don't feel like I'm sick... But I was stuck in the house Saturday and part of Sunday as a result. I don't feel much of a difference by all means after spending those 2 days in the house, but I got out working again last night!
On Tuesday I had a mini-cambio with Elder Araya (picture below) it was an awesome mini-cambio and my love for Elders from Santiago grew even more. XD
On Friday we had the conference to get to know President Catala and his family. His wife is from Taiwan and speaks spanish with a little bit of a oriental accent still (so cute!) and their son Joshua (coincidence?). They are an AWESOME little family! The best part? THEY SING!! They did a special musical number for us at the end of the conference. :D:D
After the conference, I had a mini-cambio with one of the Zone Leaders, Elder Cowley!! We ended up teaching 3 lessons and finding a new before heading to the hospital where I found out I had pneumonia. :D It was great!
And that's about it for now! We're working hard and planning on finding a LOT of new people to teach this week, so we'll have to see how things go!! Thank you all for your constant prayers and good wishes!! See you all soon!
Con Amor,
Elder Robertson
