Hello All!
I just wanted to start off this email with a HUGE shoutout to my beautiful sister Brianna, who turned 21 today! I love you so much Brianna and I'm so blessed and proud to call you my sister!
So Ruby got baptized! I'll send some pictures, but probably the craziest part was that I did the confirmation! It was super easy though. The Spirit just took over and I didn't really have to worry after that. :)
I had a mini-cambio this week as well so that Elder Ospina, our District Leader could have the interview with Ruby, so I went to Talcuhuano Centro with Elder Jensen, who has a cambio more than me in the mission. XD We had a good time though and got a baptismal date set for an old investigator of theirs! WOOHOO!
On Thursday, we had Zone Conference, which was very good, especially since we had pulled pork sandwiches for lunch. I was soooooo trunky because they tasted exactly like the ones my mom makes. :/ But it was super good! And the craziest part... You ready? The Mission President and I were wearing the same tie!!!! :D:D What are the chances, right?
So I forgot to mention it last week, but I gave a talk in Sacrament on the Liahona from January 2011, on the talk by President Monson about how the Lord needs missionaries. I basically just admonished everyone to prepare for a mission, young or old, because it is possible for everyone to serve one.
Just a little thing that happened with my companion... An old member friend in one of his last sectors promised to make him a painting with him and his Girlfriend in front of the Hawaii Temple getting married. XD He received it this week and it is actually a very good painting. HAHA. Ridiculous!
So that's about it for this week! I hope you all are doing well back home or wherever you may be reading this, and HAVE A FANTASTIC WEEK!
Con Mucho Amor,
Elder Robertson
