Hey everyone! Another awesome week here in Chile, and most importantly, a BAPTISM!!
But first, a sum of the week. Firstly, we spent 2 or so days in the Panadería of Jose again. (Panadería is a bakery) And we helped him do some pizzas, some cookies, some bread amozado, and bread alluvia. It's such an awesome opportunity to be able to learn and develop new abilities while you're on your mission! I'm not saying I'm a master chef quite yet, but I'm getting there! :D
On Saturday, we had a Ward Home Evening followed by a BAPTISM! The ward home evening consisted of a short message about the word Faith and was followed by some karioke (or however you spell it) with some sopaipillas. It was a lot of fun and there were even some inactives there that I haven't seen before, so it had a good affect as well!
And the baptism. The girl's name is Paulina Andrea Durán Castro, and I had the grand opportunity of performing the ordinance. Everything ran smoothly and the baptismal service was very spiritual. The one thing that caught me off guard though was the level of the water. When I entered the font, the water only got halfway up my thighs. XD A little unexpected, but now it's for certain. I'm freakishly tall for Chilean standards. XD
And that's about it! On Sunday we found a new investigator that seems just about GOLDEN. We found him the other day when we were persuing the local peanut vender... A strange way of finding him, but he seems really sincere and desires to change his life, so we'll see how that goes!
Love you all! Have a fantastic week! :D
